Chantauvent is a traditional guest house, providing a genuine Mauritian experience, and is conveniently on the South-Est of Mauritius in the little village Pointe d'Esny, close to Mahebourg: - fifteen minutes by car from the Plaisance international airport- 25 minutes from Curepipe, and  - 45 minutes from the capital Port Louis.

Chantauvent is located at less than 15 minutes from the airport: Follow the guide!:

• On leaving the airport, take the second exit to Mahebourg at the first roundabout.
• At the second roundabout, go straight across to Mahebourg.
• At the third roundabout, turn right to Mahebourg.
• Follow the road, and at the fourth roundabout go straight across to Mahebourg. (These roundabouts are quite close together.)
• Follow the road for about 4 km. On the left you will see a big green road sign. Turn right towards Blue Bay.
• Go to the very end, and turn right at the T-intersection towards Pointe d'Esny.
• Less than1km after on the left is the Guest-House Chantauvent.
